Position Summary
The Sales Administrator will play a crucial role in supporting the sales team and sales managers by overseeing all sales-related activities and ensuring smooth and efficient sales operations. This position demands an organized, detail-oriented, and proactive individual with excellent communication and administrative skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Sales Support: Provide administrative support to the sales team and sales managers, assisting with daily sales activities, coordinating schedules, and managing communications.
- Order Processing: Manage the sales order process from receipt to delivery. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of order entry, processing, and fulfillment.
- Customer Database Management: Maintain and update the customer database, ensuring all information is accurate and current. Handle data entry, data cleansing, and database reporting.
- Sales Reporting: Prepare and distribute sales reports, dashboards, and performance metrics. Analyze sales data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Documentation and Filing: Maintain organized records of sales activities, contracts, agreements, and correspondence. Ensure all documents are easily accessible and up-to-date.
- Communication Coordination: Act as the point of contact for sales inquiries, responding to customer and internal queries promptly and professionally.
- Inventory Management: Assist in managing inventory levels, coordinating with logistics and supply chain teams to ensure product availability.
- Meeting Coordination: Organize and coordinate sales meetings, training sessions, and conferences. Prepare agendas, take minutes, and follow up on action items.
- Sales Tools and Systems: Assist in the implementation and maintenance of sales tools and CRM systems. Provide training and support to the sales team on these tools.
- Support Sales Initiatives: Collaborate with the sales team to support marketing campaigns, product launches, and promotional activities.
- Compliance: Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and industry regulations. Assist in audits and compliance checks as needed.
Education, Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a sales support or administrative role.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high attention to detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience in the telecommunications industry is a plus.
