JOB DETAILS:
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
The Site Manager OIM will be responsible for overseeing all site activities, ensuring compliance with international and Ugandan laws, company regulations, and HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) policies while meeting safety, budget, and planning objectives. Specific duties include:

HSE/RSES Responsibilities:
• Ensure full compliance with Affiliate and Site HSE Management Systems for all activities on Tilenga sites.
• Lead site HSES (Health, Safety, Environment, and Security) teams and implement HSE objectives.

• Guarantee adherence to Environmental Management Systems, including ISO 14001 standards and waste management plans.
• Identify and mitigate risks, approve risk assessments, and implement corrective actions as needed.

• Conduct internal and external audits, follow up on actions, and ensure high safety visibility.

• Monitor all HSE KPIs and oversee investigations into incidents and HSE events.
• Promote HSE culture and enforce compliance with company ethics, code of conduct, and rules.

Operational Responsibilities:
• Represent the company on-site and ensure smooth coordination of all activities across entities.
• Contribute to activity planning, resource allocation, and performance optimization.

• Monitor site operations and execution against work programs and budgets.

• Ensure adherence to production and quality objectives while implementing necessary changes to improve performance.

• Provide regular updates on operational activities, HSE status, and risks.

Administrative and Team Responsibilities:
• Manage relationships with subcontractors and ensure their alignment with company standards.
• Evaluate and report team performance while promoting skill enhancement and team training.
• Oversee critical task preparations and operational plans.

Qualifications & Experience:
• Educational Background:
o Degree in Engineering (mechanical, industrial, or chemical) or industrial chemistry.
o Alternatively, a higher national diploma with relevant site manager experience.
• Professional Experience:
o Minimum of 15 years in oil and gas production operations (onshore or offshore).
o Prior experience as a Site Manager in similar operations is mandatory.
• Required Skills:
o Proficiency in Maintenance and Production Operations.
o Strong leadership, team management, and technical problem-solving skills.
o "OPERPAC" A* evaluation certification preferred.
