BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN DOMESTIC BIDDING
Roadway repair works at Nalubaale-Kiira Power Stations
Procurement Reference Number: UEGCL/WRKS/2024-25/20791
- Uganda Electricity Generation Company Limited has allocated funds to be used for Roadway repair works at Nalubaale–Kiira Power Stations.
- The Entity invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the provision of the above works and Supplies.
- Bidding shall be conducted in accordance with the procedures contained in the Public Procurement and Disposal of Public Assets Act, Cap 205 and Regulations 2023 and is open to all bidders.
- Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information and inspect the bidding document at the address given below from 9:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday.
- The bidding document which has been prepared in English may be purchased by interested bidders upon payment of a non-refundable fee of UGX 100,000 (Uganda Shillings One Hundred Thousand only). The method of payment will be in the bank on UEGC A/C No. 0300111 at Stanbic Bank upon which bidders shall present a bank deposit slip as proof of payment. The document will be issued electronically upon presentation of a receipt of payment.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below before or on Friday 12th January 2024 at 10:30 am. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security of UGX 8,000,000 (Eight Million Uganda Shillings).
- The Bid Securities must be valid until 12th July 2024. Late bids shall be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address below on Friday 12th January 2024 at 11:00 am.
- There shall be a site visit on Tuesday 9th January 2024 at 11:00 am.
