JOB DETAILS:

Key Responsibilities
• Coordinate routine maintenance activities and additional works requested by contractors.
• Manage purchasing activities related to maintenance and additional works.
• Oversee and organize planned and unplanned maintenance, repairs, improvements, and upgrades.
• Review agreements with stakeholders to ensure compliance with the O&M contract obligations.
• Manage the work permit process in collaboration with the health and safety department.
• Develop, review, and update maintenance manuals for road routine maintenance works.
• Generate and report monthly maintenance and annual bridge inspection reports.
• Ensure adherence to quality management system procedures and report compliance to management.
• Manage the asset register and update maintenance schedules and budgets for all assets.
• Conduct routine inspections of road assets, toll plazas, and weighbridge assets.
• Perform joint inspections with the contract employer and manage the risk register for relevant assets.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety practices and traffic management guidelines for all staff and subcontractors.
• Control maintenance activities through an asset management system and ensure accurate data reporting.
• Resolve complex problems and identify opportunities for continuous service improvement.
• Lead and motivate the team to achieve performance targets while promoting a culture of openness.
• Ensure all procedures are compliant with company standards and optimize team performance.
Candidate Profile
Qualifications and Experience:
• Education:
o A degree in Engineering (preferably Civil Engineering).
o Certification or a postgraduate diploma in Project Management is an added advantage.
• Experience:
o Minimum 5 years of experience in highway maintenance operations or similar fields.
o Team leadership and management experience.

• Ability to drive performance and productivity.
• Experience in asset management systems and quality management practices.
