JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
To offer efficient and cost effective first line support to end users of office automation and production systems and maintenance of the servers to meet MPL business objectives.
Main Responsibilities:
Maintains exchange, TNG, FPR, DTI and output management systems servers.
Attends to end users of office automation in Microsoft products when they are faced with problems.
Attends to end users of advertising and editorial systems when they are faced with problems.
Analyses end users problems and makes recommendations to management for action.
Trains end users on the installed systems to enhance their efficiency.
Participate in projects, installation and configuration of desktops and servers
Configures new equipment e.g. PCs, printers, modems and laptops.
Implements, evaluates, manages and provides best practice in computer security of server and desktops.
Maintains the hardware and soft inventories.
Deploys anti-virus software to all machines.
Qualifications & Experience:
Academic: University Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any other related field from an accredited institution
Professional: Diploma / Certification in IT
Experience: At least 3 - 5 years' working experience in IT, preferably in an FMCG company.
