JOB DETAILS:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Retail Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of pharmacy operations, regulations, and guidelines, possess excellent leadership and management skills, and have the ability to make critical decisions regarding healthcare services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to accommodate corporate goals.
• Lead, train, and manage a team of pharmaceutical sales representatives, including setting sales targets and monitoring performance.
• Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare providers, including doctors, nurses, and pharmacists, to promote product awareness.
• Oversee the daily operations of the pharmacy.
• Ensure compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations.
• Monitor and manage inventory levels to ensure continuous availability of medications.

KEY COMPETENCIES:
• Sales and Marketing: Ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans, manage a sales team, and establish relationships with healthcare providers.
• Business Acumen: Understanding of business principles, ability to make sound decisions, and a keen eye for identifying business opportunities.
• Leadership: Guiding, inspiring, and overseeing a pharmacy team to ensure effective and efficient service delivery.
• Communication: Ability to convey information clearly and concisely.
• Decision Making: Ability to make decisions quickly and accurately.
• Regulatory Compliance: Understanding and following laws, rules, and regulations.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• A degree in a medical-related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of pharmacy operations is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in business administration, or an equivalent qualification is desirable.
• State-approved license to practice as a pharmacist.
• Proven experience in a managerial capacity at a pharmacy.
• Significant experience in sales and marketing within a pharmacy setting.
• Previous experience in a similar role is required.
