Job summary
• The research fellows will support the scientific activities for the program.

Roles and responsibilities
• Assisting with development of program documents: protocol, data capture forms, sops, Checklists, implementation plans, m&e plans, power point presentations, briefs, reports And other requirements for study implementation
• Participating in training of the trial personnel/staff
Participating in support supervision and mentorship activities
Working closely with investigators on providing clean data for analysis plans
• Supporting coordination of the program activities
• Working with the relevant study teams, i.e., qc, data, clinical team to ensure that study Related documents and sops are documented, properly filed and adhered to
• 7. Facilitation of site assessments; and study monitoring & auditing visits
• 8. Attending program meetings
• 9. Participating in report writing
• 10. Taking part in scientific dissemination through abstracts, manuscripts etc.
• 11. Supporting the grant writing process for off shoot proposals
12. Participating in capacity building sessions of the program

Qualifications and skills
• ▪ bachelor’s degree in a medical discipline
• ▪ master’s degree in a related discipline (mph, mmed, msc)
• ▪ phd is an added advantage
• ▪ valid gcp and hsp certificate
• ▪ good interpersonal skills; ability to work in a clinical and research setting, with respect for Diversity
• ▪ effective communication; ability to write in a clear and concise manner and to communicate Orally
