Request for Proposals (RFP) No. Uganda SIA-IQSRFP-2024-002-BDSP
23 Chemonics International Inc. (hereinafter referred to as "Chemonics), under the Feed the Future Uganda Strategic Investments Activity (SIA), USAID Contract No. 72061721C00006, is issuing an Indefinite Quantity Subcontract (QS) Request for Proposals (IQS RFP) for provision of tailored business development and transaction advisory services to high-potential businesses across SIA's target sectors to close new investment deals.

The Feed the Future Uganda Strategic Investments Activity (hereafter referred to as the "Activity/SIA") is a five-year Activity (Sept 2021-Aug 2026) implemented by a consortium composed of international development consulting firms: Chemonics International Inc., Cross Boundary, and Open Capital Group. The Activity seeks to facilitate at least US$140 million in new investment and leverage financing in agriculture and related sectors while improving the livelihoods of 100,000 women, youth, and other underrepresented populations by integrating them into agricultural value chains and other sector-specific business models. By collaborating with Uganda- based firms, national and international investors, public institutions, business development service providers, and other business-enabling environment stakeholders, the Activity will mobilize finance and drive inclusive private sector-led growth.

The project will hold a pre-application workshop on June 18, 2024, at SIA offices (Plot 3-5 New Port Bell Road, UAP-Nakawa Business Park, Block C, 5 Floor,  Kampala, Uganda) from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. This workshop will allow eligible and interested offerors the chance to ask questions about the RFP and receive guidance on how to complete their proposals. Interested offerors who meet the eligibility requirements defined in Section 14.A below and would like to attend this workshop must confirm their attendance by sending the participant's name and the organization's name to Ug-Sia-Grants@chemonics.com by June 12, 2024. Only one person may attend from each organization. When confirming attendance, please note if the person has any special needs to access the workshop facilities. No reimbursement for costs of attendance will be met
