Founded in Japan in 2000, Hunger Free World, a Non-Government Organisation, has been operating in Uganda since 2001.

Our vision is a world free from Hunger and where everyone has a right to food. Our mission is to empower people and communities end hunger by developing model cases in the community development field that can respond to, and solve the diversified, intensified issues surrounding the Right to Food. Hence, the organization has been involved in various sectors including livelihoods, health, education as well as water and sanitation. These interventions are done using a cooperatives model under four pillars: community development, youth development, awareness-raising and advocacy.
