CPP is the Federation of Above-Ground Installation Contractor for the East African Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) Project. CPP invites experienced and reputable suppliers/service providers to express interest in the supply of monitoring equipment for the EACOP Project.

About the EACOP Project:

The EACOP Project involves the construction and operation of a crude oil export pipeline that traverses Uganda and Tanzania. The pipeline runs from Kabaale, Hoima District in Uganda, to the Chongoleani Peninsula near Tanga in Tanzania. It spans 1,443 km, with 296 km located in Uganda.

Scope of Supplies:

The equipment to be supplied includes:

1. Dust Monitors:

• Particle Counter PCE-PQC2-PM2.5 & PM10 for measuring dust particles, PM2.5 & PM10 parameters.

2. Vibration Monitors:

• Tri-Axial Vibration Monitoring Equipment: GTI 3113 Vibration Meter and related accessories.

3. Weather Stations:

• WS-GP1 Weather Station to measure environmental data, including temperature, humidity, and wind speed.

4. Hazardous Gas Detectors:

• Multi-gas detectors for H2S, CO, O2, and other gases.

5. Radiation Monitors:

• Portable radiation monitoring devices, e.g., Model 3017A Radiation Detector.

Minimum Requirements for Applicants:

Interested companies must meet the following criteria:

1. Registration Requirements:
   • • Proof of registration with the Uganda Revenue Authority (URA).
     • Tax clearance certificate for the current year.
     • Certificate of registration on the National Supplier Database (NSD) at the Petroleum Authority of Uganda.

2. Compliance with Petroleum Laws:
   • Adherence to the Petroleum (Exploration, Development, and Production) Act, 2013 and related regulations.
3. Technical Expertise:
   • Evidence of past supply of similar equipment within the last 3 years.
4. Certifications:
   • Compliance with ISO standards, including ISO 9001:2015, 45001, and 14001.
5. Financial Capacity:
   • Proof of financial strength and ability to deliver high-value projects.
