Job purpose
Your primary objective will be to enhance the Hub's skills development initiatives. This multifaceted responsibility encompasses managing knowledge products, fostering knowledge exchange and networking, and crafting practical training modules to empower stakeholders in sustainable finance and investment.
Your key responsibilities include contributing to designing and delivering advanced training programs on sustainable finance and investment and ensuring accreditation through collaboration with the CDP Certification Team. To enrich the Hub's resource centre, you will also curate relevant green and sustainable finance frameworks, tools, guidelines, studies, reports, and case studies. This involves identifying trends, fostering stakeholder collaboration, and establishing partnerships to drive impactful change.

Scope of assignment
1) Develop a strategic approach to assess capacity development needs among public and private actors.
2) Cultivate strategic partnerships with public and private sectors to advance sustainable finance capacity development goals.

3) Support partner engagement and capacity-building efforts, fostering synergistic collaborations and empowering key stakeholders to drive change.
4) Design and deliver tailored training programs, staying abreast of evolving trends in sustainable finance and policy to ensure content relevance and effectiveness.
5) Adapt training programs and resources to regional and sectoral contexts, ensuring alignment with stakeholder interests and evolving finance investment trends.
6) Develop and deploy sustainable finance tools and guides to disseminate knowledge and build capacity across diverse stakeholder groups.
7) Organize and facilitate virtual meetings and workshops to foster stakeholder collaboration and knowledge exchange.
8) Any other reasonable tasks necessary for effective delivery on the job task.

Qualifications
1. A master's degree or equivalent in finance, economics, environmental studies, international development, or a related field. Additional certifications in sustainable finance and investment would be advantageous.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in sustainable finance principles, including knowledge of green financing mechanisms, investment strategies, and ESG considerations.
3. Proven track record in designing and delivering capacity development programs, including training modules, workshops, and knowledge exchange initiatives, preferably within an international context.
4. Strong understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management practices, with the ability to analyse barriers and opportunities for private sector engagement in climate investment.
5. Ability to develop and execute strategic approaches to address capacity development needs and foster partnerships for sustainable finance initiatives.
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to publish thought leadership materials, engage stakeholders effectively and advocate for sustainable finance policies and practices.
7. Strong networking abilities with the capacity to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders, including public and private sector actors, donors, and implementing partners.
8. Flexibility to adapt training content, tools, and guides to diverse regional and sectoral contexts, staying abreast of emerging trends and adopting innovative approaches to capacity development.
9. Awareness of cultural nuances and sensitivity to working in diverse multicultural environments, with experience collaborating across different regions and countries.
