Finance Trust Bank was licensed as a Tier 1 Commercial Bank on 11th November, 2013, taking over the financial services business of Uganda Finance Trust Limited (MDI). Today Finance Trust Bank is a fully-fledged commercial bank serving a clientele of over 500,000 depositors and over 37,000 borrowers, through a network of 35 branches country wide. The bank offers a variety of Products and services including; Savings, Current accounts, Loans, Money transfer services and Bills payments to its target market which comprises of micro, small and medium entrepreneurs, salary earners and youth.

In order to meet the needs of its growing customer base, the company is seeking to recruit dynamic, self-motivated, result oriented professionals to fill the following position;

Relationship Manager – Enterprise Banking
This position reports directly to the Head Business and Institutional Banking based at the Branch.

Role of the job
The Relationship Manager-Enterprise Banking will be accountable for developing individuals and entities whose source of income is derived through self-employment or business by enabling sales improvements & portfolio growth.

Key Result Areas:
1. Maintain relationships with business individuals & entities and ensure that services delivered meet client expectations.
2. Assess credit requests in conjunction with the credit department in line with the Banks credit standards, policies, procedures, and practices and recommend action to the credit department and committee.
3. Initiate and coordinate development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
4. Carry out activities that enhance and promote good public relations and image by giving friendly and efficient services to Institutions & Companies.
5. Perform, promote, and maintain the highest standards of customer service in order to maximize returns from exist from existing relationships.
6. Implement, and administer business growth programs as necessary to maximize personal Banking profitable sales of all Bank products & services. This would include developing direct customer contact and relationships with Institutions & Companies.
7. Develop, implement, and administer sales programs as necessary to maximize contribution of the Institutions & Companies to the Bank’s B/S and P&L.
8. Carry out sales visits to existing & potential Individuals and entities and identify sales leads and report.
9. Ensure Sales growth in the various product portfolios by organizing and conducting sales campaigns.
10. Maintain and update information on the company’s products or services (work closely with marketing, distribution, and institutional Banking sections of the Bank).

Minimum educational and technical competence requirements:
• Minimum of a first Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Management or Administration or any other relevant field.
• A Master’s Degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Management or Administration would be an added advantage.
• At least 3 years work experience in supervisory role business, 2 of which should be in Relationship Management or Branch Management.
• A versatile individual with significant headroom and experience in various facets of management ( Cash Management and Financial Institutions stake holder management)
• Excellent communications and engagement skills.
• Strong skills in stakeholder management and relationship building
• High level of integrity and strong entrepreneurial skills
• Self-drive and initiative
