JOB DETAILS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences; or Humanities (Psychology; or Human Resource Management; or Sociology; or Social Work and Social Administration); or Community Based Rehabilitation from a recognized University/Institution.

Working Experience

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Rehabilitation Officer for performing the following duties:-

-        Participating in policy formulation and development of guidelines on Persons with Disabilities;

-        Ensuring adequate training of manpower in delivery of services to Persons with Disabilities;

-        Promoting Government programmes for Persons with Disabilities;

-        Organizing and being responsible for management of data on Persons with Disabilities;

-        Advocating for promotion and protection of rights of Persons with Disabilities;

-        Participating in monitoring and evaluation of programmes on Persons with Disabilities;

Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.
