BID NOTICE UNDER OPEN NATIONAL BIDDING

1. 1. Mbarara City received funds from World Bank and the government of Uganda and intends to use them on civil works during the financial year 2024/2025.

1. 1. Mbarara City invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the above-mentioned works.
   2. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open national bidding procedures contained in the Local Governments (Public Procurement and Disposal of Assets) regulations, 2023 and is open to all bidders from Uganda.
   3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from Procurement and Disposal Unit, Mbarara City and inspect the bidding documents from 8:00am– 5:00pm during official working hours on days.
   4. The bidding documents in English may be obtained by interested bidders on submission of a written application to the address indicated above and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of Ugx 200,000/-. Payment will be by visiting the Finance Department at Mbarara City Council for generation of payment Reference Number (PRN) to enable you pay for the bid document

and thereafter obtain a receipt which should be attached on to your Bid as evidence of having paid the non-refundable fees. Bids must be delivered to the address above (4) at or before 11:00am on 16th April 2025. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened in the presence of all the bidders’ representatives who choose to attend at the address above at 11:15am on 16th April 2025.

Mbarara City shall not be bound to accept the lowest, highest or any bid.

And Mbarara City is a corrupt free Entity and doesn’t entertain any form of corruption.
