Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating in the East African Region in the countries of Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda, and South Sudan.
On behalf of our client, in the Agricultural sector, we are looking for a competent, skilled, and experienced Regional Sales Representative to work in Uganda.
Job summary:
Chiromo Fertilizer is seeking experienced and driven Regional Sales Representatives to manage and expand sales operations across various regions of Uganda. The ideal candidates will have a proven track record in the agricultural sector, specifically in selling fertilizers, agrichemicals, pesticides, or seeds. Each representative will be responsible for driving sales growth, building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, and contributing to the company’s success in their assigned region.
Regions of Operation:
• Central Region: Includes Kampala, Wakiso, Mukono, and surrounding areas.
• Eastern Region: Includes Jinja, Mbale, Soroti, Tororo, and surrounding areas.
• Western Region: Includes Mbarara, Fort Portal, Kasese, and surrounding areas.
• Northern Region: Includes Gulu, Lira, Arua, Kitgum, and surrounding areas.
• Candidates must specify their preferred region during the application process.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Business Development:
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to the assigned region to meet and exceed sales targets.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the region’s agricultural sector.
• Promote and sell Chiromo Fertilizer’s products to distributors, Agro dealers, and farmers.
Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers in the region.
• Provide product knowledge and technical support to clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Market Research and Strategy:
• Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs specific to the assigned region to identify opportunities and challenges.
• Provide feedback and recommendations to the management team for product and market improvement.
Reporting and Coordination:
• Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and market intelligence.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, logistics, and finance, to ensure seamless operations and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Experience: Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales within the agricultural industry, specifically fertilizers, agrichemicals, pesticides, or seeds.
• Education: A bachelor’s degree in agriculture, agribusiness, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
Skills:
• Strong knowledge of the agricultural sector and market dynamics within the assigned region.
• Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
• Ability to work independently, set priorities, and achieve targets.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
Other Requirements:
• Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned region.
• Strong network of contacts in the agricultural sector within the specific region is highly desirable.
