Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Recoveries Officer located in Soroti. The Recoveries Officer will be responsible for managing debt collection processes, analyzing financial information of clients, and handling customer service inquiries related to loans. They will also be tasked with developing strategies to improve collection rates, negotiating repayment plans with clients, and maintaining accurate records of all recoveries efforts.

Qualifications

• Strong Interpersonal and Customer Service skills
• Experience in Debt Collection and Finance
• Well-developed Analytical Skills
• Proficiency in managing and organizing multiple tasks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
• Previous experience in microfinance or related field is a plus
• Relevant educational background in Finance, Business Administration, or related field
• Ability to ride a motorcycle with a valid driver’s license
• Able to speak ateso language
