• Purpose:
The Records and Information Management Officer will oversee the management of records and documents, ensuring that information is stored, retrieved, and maintained efficiently and securely.
• Responsibilities:
o Develop and implement record management policies and procedures.
o Maintain an organized filing system for physical and electronic records.
o Ensure that records are updated, archived, and retrieved in a timely manner.
o Monitor compliance with regulations regarding records and information management.
o Train staff on best practices for document handling and storage.
o Conduct audits of records and information systems to ensure accuracy and security.
o Support the digitization of records for improved accessibility.
• Qualifications and Experience:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Records and Information Management, Library Science, or related field.
o At least 2 years of experience in records management or information systems.
o Familiarity with records management software and tools is an added advantage.
