Job summary
Lafab solutions is recruiting on behalf of our client 2 competent Receptionists to manage the hotel reception areas. These individuals will act as the ‘face’ of the company and ensure visitors receive a warm welcome. To ensure the smooth operation of the front desk and overall guest satisfaction, the ideal candidates’ responsibilities will include coordinating all front desk activities, including calls, reservations, and guest services. They will also handle complaints and ensure proper resolution.

Responsibilities:
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of the front desk staff.
• Ensure all front office employees adhere to the company’s customer service standards.

• Train front desk staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.

• Resolve customer complaints and problems in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Manage room bookings and reservations.
• Prepare and manage the front office budget and expenses.
• Maintain records related to staffing, operations, and clientele.

• Coordinate with other departments to ensure a smooth stay or visit for the guests.

• Ensure the front desk presents a professional and positive image of the company.
• Generate reports regarding front office operations and services.

Requirements:
• 2 years and above proven work experience as a Front Desk Manager or Reception Manager in a busy environment.
• Certificate, Diploma, or Degree in Hospitality or related fields

• Hands-on experience with office machines like printers.
• Thorough knowledge of customer service, office management, and basic book keeping procedures.
• Proficiency in English (oral and written).
• Solid knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Good organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Problem-solving skills.
