Job Summary

Job Description/Requirements
- Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures using X-rays, CT scans, MRIs, and other imaging modalities.
- Prepare and position patients appropriately for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and cooperation.
- Apply radiation safety measures and protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure.
- Monitor the quality of images taken and ensure they meet diagnostic requirements.
- Accurately document imaging procedures and maintain up-to-date patient records.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and deliver imaging results.
- Maintain and ensure the proper functioning of imaging equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
- Observe infection control and hygiene standards during all procedures.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in line with medical guidelines.
- Engage in continuous professional development to keep up with evolving radiographic practices and technologies.
