ABOUT THE ROLE
The Quality Improvement Officer will be responsible for:
Responsibilities
- Supporting the design, implementation and monitoring of quality improvement
- Applying 5S-QI-CQI-TQM methodologies, strengthening capacity building, enhancing monitoring and evaluation systems, promoting data-driven decision making and contributing to operational research
- Aiming to improve service delivery, health outcomes and sustainability of quality care
ABOUT YOU
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a medical or health-related field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Public Health or relevant field is a strong advantage
Experience
- At least 3 years of experience in health systems, clinical mentorship or similar.
- Experience working with district health and facility QI teams with strong skills in mentorship.
- Experience preparing technical documents such as abstracts, case studies, learning briefs preferably within MNCH or QI
- Familiarity with Uganda’s health sector policies, standards and guidelines.
