DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Actively participate in the implementation of quality policies, objectives and culture.
2. Actively participate in external audit and certification processes and activities.
3. Assist in managing company certification accounts for organic, IFS and EU and follow up on any communications, notifications and updates from the respective bodies.
4. Participate in HACCP development and lead its implementation, maintenance and improvements.
5. Follow up sample delivery, payments and analysis reports from the external laboratories.
6. Verify and ensure accurate and compliant loading and shipping data and documentation before container release.
7. Apply of product TCs and COIs before product release and follow up timely approval and issuance of the certificates.
8. Participate in the development and improvement of system SOPs, documents and records.
9. Conduct continuous training of personnel accordance to training plan or identified needs.
10. Plan and coordinate internal inspections and audits on process and system operations as scheduled and follow up on closure of any non-conformances.
11. Ensure maintenance of product traceability system and conduct periodic traceability and mass balance tests.
12. Manage issuance, use, review and amendment of QA and QC documents and records.
13. Offer customer support regarding inquiries, questionnaires, complaints and requested documentation.
14. Evaluate, approve and manage supplier and service providers while maintaining efficient communications and strong relationships.
15. Conduct root cause analysis for non-conforming products and processes and follow up on the implementation of corrective actions.
16. Manage and coordinate food defense and food fraud mitigation and contingency plans.
17. Participate in handling internal incidents, recalls, and withdrawals that may arise.
18. Participate in management reviews, assessments and evaluation of quality assurance programs, policies and systems.
19. Assist in planning and supervision of quality control and assurance operations.
20. Receive, check and accept seeds and packaging materials in accordance with acceptance criteria and specifications.
21. Ensure processing SOPs are followed, and work instructions for staff are maintained at required locations.
22. Conduct accurate monitoring for CCPs/CPs and final product seeds as required and report monitoring status to designated personnel to initiate required corrections/ corrective actions in case of any deviations.
23. Prepare seed samples for external laboratory testing and conduct internal rapid laboratory analyses and tests on the seeds.
24. Verify calibration of measuring/monitoring devices to ensure accurate monitoring results.
25. Conduct pre-loading inspections of containers and outgoing seeds and ensure dispatch of goods in accordance with dispatch criteria.
26. Ensure proper segregation and handling of non-conforming products.
27. Conduct checks on PRPs as required and follow up on any deviations to ensure maintenance of a hygienic and sanitary processing environment.
28. Follow up on timely maintenance of machines as scheduled or as required and ensure hygiene clearance after maintenance.
29. Submit all reports required for verification to the Quality Manager.
30. Carry out any other activity as requested by the QM and Management.
