Job Description/Requirements
Our Client is an international green coffee commodities sourcing, processing and export company. Following the development of our activity, we are currently seeking a talented individual to fill the role of Quality and Process Improvement Coordinator for our coffee and vanilla operations. The position is based in Kasese, Uganda, on a permanent contract. Travel within the country (Rukungiri, Kampala) may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
Main Missions
- Lead the implementation of HACCP protocols in Kasese for vanilla production, ensuring top- tier food safety and quality standards.
- Define and analyse processes to ensure efficiency and the continuous improvement of products and services
- Ability to innovate and propose solutions,
- Ensure the group quality and food safety policy
- Manage organisation certification project (FSMS for vanilla) and harmonise practices Activities
- Documenting the organisation's activities (processes, procedures, etc.)
- Assisting teams to implement good manufacturing and storage practices
- Supervising the quality control processes for raw materials, in-process products and finished products
- Ensuring the compliance with customers, other regulations and requirements
- Analysing and monitoring dysfunctions and non-conformities
- Implementing corrective actions
- Managing quality reviews
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in Quality &; Process Improvement or a similar role
- Office automation skills - Office Pack (PPT, workflows, spreadsheets)
- Management standard (ISO 9001)
- Knowledge of food safety management standard (IFS/BRC) will be appreciated
- Quality methods: planning, documentation system, problem solving
- Knowledge of regulations
- Analytical & Synthesis skills
