Description

TotalEnergies EP UGANDA (COMPANY) as Operator of Contract Area 1 (CA-1) and License Area 2 North (LA-2N), in conjunction with its Joint Ventures partner(s), invites experienced and reputable companies to express interest to provide artificial tracers injection and diagnostic services on the upcoming project of TILENGA

General Field Development Description:
The Tilenga oil and associated gas development (PROJECT) is located in the North-East area of Lake Albert in Uganda and covers the fields in CA-1 block and the Northern part of LA-2 block. There are four vertically stacked reservoirs that are developed in the project. The reservoirs are presumed to be disconnected and will be developed individually. Laterally, the reservoirs are compartmentalized through a series of faults. The surface facilities include wellpads (30+) and industrial area containing Central Processing Facility (CPF) and facilities. There is re-injection of produced water into the reservoirs.

Project Overview:
The project consists of injecting various tracers into ~160 water injectors and sampling ~162 oil producers. The artificial tracer campaign will provide results on injector-producer communication, reservoir heterogeneities and flow path.

The activities will include but not limited to:
• Design, supply, delivery, and execution of injection, sampling, analysis, and data interpretation.
• Design of tracer injection (different markers of tracers) in~160 injection wells in a period of ~36 months in six different fields.
• Sampling of ~162 producer wells in a total duration of ~72 months in different fields.
• Analysis of the sample for the tracer concentration at the site or within the country.
• Establish a robust data management (dedicated tool) so that data can be easily shared from the CONTRACTOR to COMPANY.
• Interact with COMPANY through a technical focal point (the Technical Contact).

The Artificial tracers to be injected are non-toxic, non-radioactive, non-interactive with hydrocarbons, no absorption or retardation with the formation (reservoir). They must be highly stable and have very low detection limits with an expected lifetime above 3 years after the start of the injection.
The selected contractor will be able to demonstrate the following abilities
•Experience in the provision of technical services relating to the artificial tracer campaign in the Oil & Gas industry.
• Proven capability to manage the tracer campaign with training of operators' personnel.
• Availability of different tracers to distinguish the communication between wells laterally and vertically.
• Strong Contract Management and Performance Management expertise in relation to delivery of the prescribed scope.

The Minimum Requirements to Participate in the Prequalification Process are:
•Must have fully certified and experienced personnel to perform the full scope of the project.
• At least 10 continuous years' experience in managing artificial Interwell tracer campaign in the industry.
• Proven experience in managing similar artificial Interwell tracer campaign projects for oil and gas industry.
• Health Safety and Environment (HSE) Management system, Quality Policy, and related procedures in compliance with local and international standards

• Adequate financial capability to perform the SERVICES as required.
• Current registration to, or application to be registered to; the National Supplier Database for the year 2023-24.
