The United Nations Children’s Fund Uganda office hereinafter referred to as UNICEF. In a specialised agency of the United Nations with a mandate to advocate for the protection of children’s rights, to help meet their basic needs and to expand their opportunities to reach their full potential.

UNICEF works with governments, civil society organizations and other partners worldwide to advance children’s rights and is guided by the Convention on the Rights of the Child and the Convention on the Elimination of All Forms of Discrimination against Women.

1. The minimum requirements for interested companies are:

• Legal registration in Uganda
• Tax identification number and VAT registration certificate.
• Proven experience in supply/provision of goods/services.
• Adequate staffing structure and enough qualified personnel that can efficiently meet VAT needs.
• 2024 leading license
• Verifiable references from current customers where the company is providing similar goods/services.

It should be noted that UNICEF is not obliged to issue any particular potential vendor that has expressed interest to participate in any subsequent holding process. Cells for proposals and any subsequent contract will be issued in accordance with the procurement procedures of UNICEF.
