JOB DETAILS:
Job Location: Isingiro Field Office
Reporting To: Team Leader
Job Purpose:
The Project Manager will oversee resource coordination, equipment, schedules, and project execution to ensure timely and budget-friendly completion. This role involves managing field operations, organizing reporting, conducting risk assessments, and engaging stakeholders for project success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Maintain project documentation, field plans, budgets, and schedules.
• Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings and follow up on key actions.
• Ensure compliance with frameworks and track expenditures.
• Monitor project progress and resource utilization, ensuring value for money.
• Develop project strategies and provide solutions to risks and issues.
• Coordinate procurement evaluations for project goods and services.
• Oversee field reporting, prepare presentations, and monitor project quality.
• Liaise with internal teams to define requirements, scope, and objectives.
• Conduct field audits, maintain project documentation, and prepare reports.
• Provide administrative support, facilitate training, and ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Participate in resource mobilization for project activities.
Qualifications and Skills:
• Education:
o A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Social Sciences, or a related field.
o A Postgraduate qualification in Project Planning and Management or Monitoring and Evaluation is an advantage.
• Experience:
o A minimum of 5 years of experience in project implementation, from conception to delivery.
• Skills:
o Strong organizational, multitasking, and time-management skills.
o Proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project and Planner.
o Familiarity with risk management and quality assurance practices.
o Exceptional teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
