Job Summary

To initiate, develop and monitor program implementation in line with the set goals/objectives.

Overall Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain strategic partnerships and networks with key stakeholders and partners
  2. Provide leadership and oversight for program implementation
  3. Develop and monitor consolidated program plans, work schedules    and    budgets in   line with program goals/ objectives
  4. Ensure quality assurance in program implementation and provide technical assistance whenever necessary.
  5. Monitor the   implementation and   integration of high impact program interventions to achieve program goals
  6. Plan for periodic program reviews, monitor and evaluate program outcomes to inform programming
  7. Develop capacity building and community systems strengthening plans targeting district leaders, civil society organizations and community leaders.
  8. Maintain a project motivated team and monitor their performance in line with the Baylor-Uganda Human Resources policy.

 

Required Qualification, Experience and Competencies:
  • ·       A Master’s degree in Public Health or a related field.
  • ·    The candidate should have at least 8 years of experience in HIV/AIDS and TB programming; managing health programs with a reputable local or international NGO; working with government of Uganda including district local governments; and working with development partners.
