JOB DETAILS:

Under the responsibility of our Director for Africa, based in Casablanca, Morocco, you will have several main missions :

Management of two of our major projects

The objective of these contracts is to provide to our clients the support in the overall management support. You will be the team leader with the main following tasks :

  • Support to the Project Implementation Unit (PIU) on Overall Project Management
  • Assistance in reviewing deliverables from project contracts
  • Assistance to the Client and other consultants in engaging with local stakeholders
  • Capacity building and training for NWSC by providing on-site and daily support to the PIU team

Settlement, development and management of our hub for Eastern Africa

You will manage our future branch in Uganda and

  • Identify new business opportunities in the region
  • Develop commercial action in target countries
  • Establish privileged contacts with local consultancies, potential representatives, as well as with the Public Authorities concerned by the activities of Suez Consulting
  • Develop relationships with local representatives of bilateral and multilateral donors

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

YOUR PROFILE

Technical abilities:

  • Master’s Degree in Hydraulic or Civil Engineering or other relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 20 years working experience including a minimum 15 years’ experience in project management of water and sanitation projects.
  • Shall have experience in (i) Design, Tendering and Procurement of Contractors and (ii) works supervision for similar Works. Some of this experience must have been acquired in developing countries, preferably in East Africa.
  • Shall have acted as Team Leader on not less than 2 Technical Assistance.
  • Extensive experience in working on projects financed by IFIs.
  • English fluency and good written skills.
