Program Summary: SHARE
The Sexual Health and Reproductive Education (SHARE) program, funded by Global Affairs Canada, is a five-year initiative aimed at improving the reproductive health of adolescents aged 10–24, especially girls and young women, in Uganda, Ghana, and Mozambique. The program focuses on gender-transformative, rights-based approaches to empower adolescents to demand better sexual and reproductive health services, while also ensuring that health facilities provide adolescent-friendly care.

Role Summary
The Project Coordinator (PC) will implement project activities, provide support to community teams in using Right To Play tools, and monitor project delivery quality and effectiveness.

Primary Responsibilities
1. Activity Planning and Implementation (45%)
• Engage partners, stakeholders, and children in project planning and execution.
• Support teachers and trainers in developing activity plans and schedules.

• Organize events, play days, and sports tournaments.

• Coordinate training workshops, manage logistics, and participate in training as needed.
• Monitor equipment management and ensure its proper distribution and use.

• Handle budgets for activity implementation and verify financial reports.
2. Monitoring and Reporting (30%)
• Conduct regular field visits with education officials, trainers, and partners.
• Train stakeholders in data collection tools and ensure accurate reporting.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports with narrative, qualitative, and financial data.
3. Establish and Maintain Partnerships (20%)
• Identify needs in schools and communities and select partner locations.

• Represent Right To Play in forums and engage regularly with stakeholders.
4. Other Responsibilities (5%)
• Complete other tasks as assigned by the Project Officer.

What You’ll Bring (Essential)
Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field.
Experience:
• Minimum of 3 years of experience developing and implementing training sessions, preferably in senior roles in NGOs.
Skills and Knowledge:
• Effective planning, organizing, coaching, and mentoring skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Team-building skills and the ability to work with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Internet.
Languages:
• Fluency in English (spoken and written).
• Knowledge of local languages is an added advantage.
Bonus Skills (Not Essential):
• Experience with development programs in both rural and urban settings.
• Experience in training, curriculum development, and working within the government education system.
• Coaching experience and a background in sports or recreational activities.
• Ability to ride a motorbike and possession of a valid motorbike driver’s license.
