Location: Lamwo

Job Overview
The Programs Officer will work closely with the  Naguru Teenage Centre (NTC) team to implement and oversee programs focused on empowering young people, particularly in the areas of sexual and reproductive health, education, and community engagement. The role requires a motivated individual with strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, implement, and monitor youth-focused programs in Lamwo district.
• Facilitate community outreach and engagement on SRHR and related topics.

• Conduct capacity-building sessions for young people and community members.

• Collect, analyze, and report data on program activities and outcomes.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, including local government, NGOs, and community leaders, to ensure effective program delivery.

• Advocate for youth-friendly SRHR services within the community.

Qualifications and Skills Required
• Education:
o Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Public Health, Education, or a related field.
• Experience:
o At least 2 years of experience in program implementation, youth empowerment, or SRHR.
o Experience in community engagement and mobilization is an added advantage.
• Skills:
o Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
o Knowledge of SRHR issues and youth-focused programming.
o Ability to work independently and within a team.
o Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
o Report writing and data collection skills.
