ABOUT THE ROLE
The MoTIV Product Manager willassist the Marketplace Lead in developing new products, curating collectionsand advising makers on the MoTIV aesthetic. Here is what you will do:

1. Product Development:
·        Build product development roadmap forall product verticals
·        Lead design of seasonal MoTIV Brandedcollections
·        Set seasonal design priorities for theMoTIV Marketplace for members
·        Lead product development and testingfor all MoTIV products
·        Ensure proper development and testingof products from outside brands on the MoTIV Marketplace
·        Assist Marketplace Lead in costing allMoTIV products
·        Work with Production team to plan massproduction
·        Provide monthly reports onsell-through data with marketing and sales teams to feed into the productroadmap
·        Identify new product verticals andproducts for MoTIV expansion
·        Assess Member products submitted forplacement on the marketplace
 2. Training/Mentoring:
·        Develop product development curriculumfor MoTIV Members to address:
o    Understandingtrend reports
o    Design
o    Sampling& Testing
o    Costing
o    Production
o    QualityControl
o    Sales
·        Assist MoTIV Members in building theirproduct pipeline
·        Work with MoTIV Members to developtheir products to be ready for placement on the marketplaceABOUT YOU
 Experience
·        3-5 years of experience working inproduct development
·        Ideal candidate will have experienceworking in Africa with brands or individuals in the creative space
Academic Qualifications
●       Bachelor’sDegree in Product Development, Marketing, Art and Design, Economics or arelated field.
●       PostGraduate Diploma/Degree in Product Development is an added advantage.
