Job Summary

The procurement and logistics services will be assisting the head procurement and logistics coordinator to coordinate and implement all processes in the supply chain, Sourcing suppliers, verification of specifications, negotiating prices and ensuring timely delivery of supplies to customers. Analyse data and generate reports to guide in decision making.

Qualifications, Skills and experience

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering and with qualification in procurement/supply chain management or equivalent.
  • CIPS (Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply) is an added advantage
  • Knowledge of laws, regulations and ISO requirements
  • Computer skills with a working knowledge of logistics software (ERP)
  • Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
  • Attention to detail is key and proficient with figures/numbers
  • Experience in customer service will be appreciated
  • Proven experience as logistics coordinator
