Job Description/Requirements

  1. Develop and implement procurement strategies and plans to support construction projects, consultancy operations, and hardware dealership sales, ensuring cost-effective and timely sourcing.
  2. Coordinate the end-to-end procurement process, including requisition validation, sourcing, contract negotiation, order tracking, and supplier management for both internal projects and retail stock.
  3. Collaborate with project managers, engineers, consultants, and sales teams to forecast material needs, plan purchases, and ensure product availability for both project execution and customer sales
  4. Conduct regular market research and supplier benchmarking to maintain competitive pricing, quality assurance, and updated catalogs for construction materials and retail hardware products.
  5. Manage tendering and bidding processes for construction-related procurements and wholesale supply contracts, ensuring transparency and adherence to procurement policy.
  6. Negotiate and manage supply contracts with manufacturers, wholesalers, and transporters for the timely delivery of materials for projects, consultancy work, and hardware sales.
  7. Ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods to project sites, hardware customers, and offices, while verifying compliance with technical specifications and quantities.
  8. Manage inventory across project stores and outlets, ensuring proper stocking levels, reorder points, and accurate tracking of both fast-moving and slow-moving items.
  9. Supervise warehouse/store operations, including receiving, labeling, storage, issuing, and returns for construction sites and hardware store branches.
  10. Coordinate logistics and fleet operations, including vehicle routing for site deliveries, customer orders, inter-branch transfers, and technical field team deployments.
  11. Track and maintain vehicle records, fuel consumption, repair logs, and ensure compliance with transport safety standards.
  12. Utilize logistics and inventory software systems to streamline tracking, reporting, and forecasting for construction materials, consultancy equipment, and dealership stock.
  13. Support the sales and customer service teams in fulfilling hardware customer orders, managing stock availability, and resolving procurement-related delivery delays.
  14. Maintain up-to-date procurement and inventory records, including contracts, delivery notes, invoices, customer orders, and supplier communications.
  15. Ensure compliance with internal policies, procurement regulations, and health and safety standards in all procurement, logistics, and dealership operations.
  16. Generate periodic reports on procurement status, inventory levels, hardware sales support, supplier performance, and operational costs for management review.
  17. Coordinate with finance and audit teams to ensure timely reconciliation of supplier invoices, customer deliveries, and inventory records.
  18. Identify and implement cost-saving measures in sourcing, logistics, and dealership operations while maintaining quality standards and customer satisfaction.
