JOB DETAILS:

Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement and Supply Chain Management; or Procurement and Logistics Management; or Commerce (Procurement and Supply Chain Management); or Business Administration (Procurement and Supply Chain Management); or Full professional qualification in Supply Chain Management from a recognized University/ Institution.

Working Experience

Duties
The incumbent will be responsible to the Senior Procurement Officer for performing the following duties:-

-        Assisting in liaising with end users and preparing draft procurement plans for the entity;

-        Assisting in guiding suppliers on procurement procedures;

-        Assisting in verifying procurement and disposal requisitions;

-        Assisting in preparing draft bid documents and participating in evaluation of bids as and when assigned;

-        Assisting in compiling documentations and maintaining safe custody of procurement and disposal records;

-        Assisting in entering sanctioned transactions on the system for further processing and produce required reports

-        Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time
