Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Supplier Management – Selecting vendors, negotiating contracts.

• Purchase Planning – Forecasting material needs, scheduling procurement.

• Cost Control – Managing budgets, optimizing expenses.

• Contract & Compliance – Ensuring legal and regulatory adherence.

• Inventory & Logistics – Tracking stock, coordinating deliveries.

• Risk Management – Addressing supplier delays and shortages.

• Collaboration – Working with engineers and finance teams

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field

• 10 years of general experience, with at least 8 years in contract administration, estimation, and monitoring.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

• Proficiency in procurement software (SAP, Oracle, Procore)

• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills with knowledge of information technology.

Technical Skills:

• Supply Chain Management – Efficient sourcing, vendor negotiation, and logistics coordination.

• Cost Estimation & Budgeting – Expertise in managing procurement costs and financial planning.

• Contract Administration – Understanding procurement laws, agreements, and compliance.

• Inventory Control – Tracking materials, stock levels, and optimizing usage.

• Procurement Software – Proficiency in tools like SAP, Oracle, Procore, or Microsoft Dynamics

Additional Skills:

• Risk Assessment – Identifying supplier risks, market fluctuations, and contingency planning.

• Tendering & Bidding – Handling supplier bids, evaluating proposals, and selecting vendors.

• Data Analysis – Using analytics for cost optimization, forecasting, and reporting.

• Quality Assurance – Ensuring materials meet construction standards and specifications.

• Communication & Coordination – Collaborating with engineers, contractors, and suppliers for smooth procurement operations.

Reporting Structure:

The Senior Office engineer will report directly to the technical manager and collaborate closely with general staff/ emplyees and other members of the company’s team.
