JOB DETAILS:

Duties and Responsibilities:
• The procurement and compliance officer will oversee the procurement activities of the organization and monitor all operational processes and procedures using a compliance adherence to the organisation's procurement and donor procedures, needs assessment and collaboration in liason with the different departments, coordinate the procurement committee meetings and ensure donor and legal compliance.

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, or related field.

• Membership of professional accounting bodies such as ACCA and CPA is an added advantage.

• At least 5 years of extensive experience in logistics. procurement, and donor grants. management.
• Strong negotiation and contract management skills. Knowledge of NGO statutory compliance obligations Knowledge of Rules and regulations for key donors such as USAID, the European Union among others
• methodologies (e.g. qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and impact) and data collection and analysis methodologies.
• Experience in planning and managing surveys.
• Experience in developing and refining data collection tools.
• Experience with data quality assessments and oversight.
• Experience in managing and providing training to partners and target beneficiaries.
• Ability to facilitate and serve as project liaison for externally-managed evaluations.
