We are looking for suitable candidates to take on the role of Private Sector and Partnerships Officer.
Job summary:
The Private Sector & Partnership Officers will support the Private Sector Engagement Manager in advancing collaboration with private sector actors as they work with private healthcare providers in strengthening the quality of healthcare services for MNCH, FP/RH, Malaria, Global Health Security, and Nutrition within the Greater Kampala Metropolitan Area (KMA). This includes participation in implementing quality improvement initiatives, accreditation, quality improvement activities, and the adoption of high-impact practices (HIPs) in primary healthcare.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Degree in nursing, midwifery, clinical medicine, or public health.
• At least 5 years of experience in private sector engagement, health systems strengthening, or quality improvement within health settings.
• Knowledge of Uganda’s healthcare system and service delivery models.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
• Ability to work collaboratively with team members and external stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
