The role

We are seeking a transformative Principal Finance Manager for our Clyde Sector within Acute Services.

The Clyde Sector provides services within the Royal Alexandra Hospital, Inverclyde Royal Hospital and the Vale of Leven Hospital and hosts some of our Acute wide services too, including Dermatology, Hospital Discharge and Palliative Care. The Sector has a total revenue budget of over £200 million and employs over 3,300 staff.

Reporting to the Head of Finance (Clyde and Women’s & Childrens), you will be a key member of the Clyde Sector Management team supporting key stakeholders to improve financial performance whilst delivering high quality services for our communities.

You will lead in the delivery of robust monthly and annual accounts and provide professional advice and forecasts to a variety of service users. In addition you will be the finance lead for a portfolio of highly complex projects across a wide range of services for the planning and development of short, medium and longer-term initiatives including the Sectors financial improvement programme.
