PREQUALIFICATION OF SUPPLIERS FOR GOODS, SERVICES & WORKS FOR THE YEARS 2024/2026
Habitat for Humanity Uganda (HFHU), affiliated to Habitat for Humanity International (HFHI), is a Christian non-profit organization dedicated to eliminating poverty housing. Since 1982, Habitat for Humanity Uganda has built, rehabilitated or repaired more than 40,000 homes, providing simple, affordable shelter for approximately 240,000 people in Uganda.

HFHU invites all interested and suitably qualified suppliers/ service providers to apply for the Pre-qualification for the provision/supply of Goods, Services and Works for the financial years 2024/26 as categorized below:
CATEGORY A: SUPPLY OF GOODS
• Office Equipment and Office Furniture General office Stationery
• Water Tanks
• Mosquito Nets
• Reusable Sanitary Pads
• Firefighting equipment (fire alarms, extinguishers)
• Motor vehicle and motorcycle parts and accessories (tires, tubes, spares, grills, racks)
• Vocational skills toolkits (Tailoring, Motor Vehicle and Motor Cycle tools, Hairdressing tools, catering equipment, Welding and Metal Fabrication workshop tools, carpentry
• tools, Brick Laying and Concrete Practice Tools etc.) Supply of Personal Protective Equipment (riding gears, construction helmets, gloves, safety boots, gum boots etc.)
• ICT Equipment (PCs, Peripherals, Networking equipment and all accessories
• Solar (solar kits, solar equipment, solar accessories)

CATEGORY B. PROVISON OF SERVICES
• Hotel services (Outside catering, Conferences, Accommodation for National staff and International Guests in Kampala, Mayuge Namayingo, Kumi, Soroti, Fort Portal, Jinja, Entebbe, Hoima, Masindi
• Servicing Repair and Maintenance of Motor Vehicles and Motorcycles in Kampala, Mayuge, Namayingo, Kumi, Soroti and Fort Portal
• Ground transport hire services
• Air ticket and travel services
• Events Management services
• Trainers (psychosocial support, WASH, HIV, ARSH and Malaria Prevention) in Kampala, Mayuga, Namayingo, Kumi, Soroti and Fort Portal
• Vocational skills Trainings (Carpentry and Joinery, welding and metal Fabrication, Tailoring. Hair dressing Plumbing Motor vehicle mechanics and catering) in Kampala, Mayuga, Namayingo, Kumi, Soroti and Fort Portal
• Insurance services (assets, medical, workman, fund managers and funeral
• ICT Services (Web, App development & Hosting Repair, Installations
• HR and recruitment services
• Legal services
• Office maintenance (electrical, plumbing, carpentry)
• Security services for Kampala, Kumi, Mayuge and Fort Portal
• Media (Newspapers, social media, radio stations, TV stations, videography Photography)
• Graphics designing (engraving, graphics, designing & printing)

CATEGORY C. CONSTRUCTION WORKS
Provision of construction works and renovation services (all construction works. HFHU Main Houses, latrines and installation of water tanks, Drilling of Boreholes, Solar powered water systems, Hydrogeological surveys, painting services in Mayuge. Namayingo, Kumi, Soroti, Fort Portal and Kampala. Bidding will be conducted in accordance with the open domestic bidding procedures contained in the Habitat for Humanity Uganda Procurement Policy and is open to all bidders within Uganda. The subject line should read Pre-qualification of suppliers 2024/26 Existing suppliers who wish to be retained MUST apply and submit up-to-date information as required in the pre-qualification document

NOTE: The complete bid document should be hand delivered ONLY after paying a non-refundable fee of 100,000/-through "Housing Finance Bank Account Number: 1100247689, Branch: Kololo Account Name: Habitat for Humanity Uganda". Proof of payment MUST be attached to the bid application.

Deadline for submission of bids is by close of business on Friday 04 April 2024 at 5:00pm EST
Bids that fail to meet the minimum set requirements and deadline shall not be considered. HFHU reserves the right to reject any or all the bids.
