Job Description:
The Plant Operator will be responsible for operating, maintaining, and ensuring the safety of machinery and equipment used by the district for various purposes, including construction and maintenance projects.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operating district machinery such as graders, excavators, and other heavy equipment.
• Conducting routine maintenance and inspections of machinery to ensure optimal performance.

• Reporting mechanical faults or breakdowns to the supervisor for timely repairs.

• Ensuring safety protocols are followed during machinery operation.
• Assisting with loading and offloading construction materials as required.

• Maintaining operational records for machinery usage and fuel consumption.

Minimum Qualifications:
• A Certificate in Mechanics, Machine Operation, or a related field.
• Valid operating licenses for specific machinery.
• At least 2 years of experience in operating and maintaining heavy equipment.

• Basic knowledge of safety standards for operating machinery.
