JOB DETAILS:

GENERAL

CEMENTERS UGANDA LIMITED invites applications from suitable qualified persons for its construction activities under the scope of CPF Roads on the Tilenga project.

MAIN DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop and manage detailed construction schedules for roads

Monitor Planned vs Actual progress and analyse schedule deviations

Prepare look ahead schedules, recovery programs and short-term execution plans.

Track quantities executed against BOQs to support cost and performance monitoring.

Generate planning dashboards and present progress reports during client and internal review meetings

Carryout delay analysis, time impact assessments and schedule updates for project control reporting

Coordinate procurement timelines to ensure material availability in alignment with Project schedules.

QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPEREINCE

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering

Proven knowledge of using Microsoftware suite i.e excel, outlook, PowerPoint, word,

Strong knowledge in Oracle Primavera P6(MUST)

Good knowledge and understanding of presentation and scheduling especially in Oil&Gas

CERTIFICATIONS

Budgeting and scheduling Projects

Certification in Oracle Primavera P6

Primavera: Project planning (Basic to Advanced)

TECHNICAL SKILLS

Primavera P6

MS project

Plan swift

EDMS

PowerPoint

BOQ Analysis

EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 2 or 3 years of work experience in a civil engineering.
