Our client is seeking a highly skilled Pipeline Lifting Specialist to join their team in Uganda, working on a major Onshore Pipeline Project. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a major infrastructure development in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lifting and rigging plans for the onshore pipeline project
• Ensure compliance with regional, national, and international safety standards and regulations
• Coordinate and oversee all lifting operations, including heavy lift operations
• Train and certify on-site personnel in safety procedures and company policies
• Conduct site surveys, feasibility studies, job safety analyses, environmental safety inspections, and ground-bearing calculations
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience in rigging and lifting, with a focus on managing all aspects of projects and developing lift plans
• Onshore Pipeline Lifting project experience in the last 5 years
• Knowledgeable in regional, national, and international standards for lifting and rigging
• Experience in various sectors including operation, drilling, construction, logistics, and marine subsea sites
• Relevant certifications, such as Rigging Lifting Lv.4 OPITO, Banks man Slinger Lv.4 OPITO, CPCS Construction Plant Competence Scheme, and Appointed Person OPITO ISSOW (Permit to work)
• Proven track record in executing site surveys, feasibility studies, job safety analyses, environmental safety inspections, and ground-bearing calculations
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously with high accuracy
