We’re looking for a Patient Access Officer to join our team at the prestigious Harley Street Health Centre in Central London.

As a Patient Access Officer you will provide a comprehensive range of administrative services to patients, GPs and other third parties which will in turn assist in giving patients a seamless journey into using our world class services.

This is a really interesting position where no two days are the same and you will have the opportunity to develop a variety of skills. Our supervisor and management team started as Patient Access Officers.

This is a fabulous opportunity for you to work in a wonderful location as part of our friendly and supportive Primary Care team. Your full time hours will be over a four-day week.

What You'll Do

  • Give our famously-warm welcome to all attending patients
  • Professionally support patients with telephone and email enquiries
  • Register patients and manage their appointments
  • Take payment and keep accurate invoice records
  • Ensure that all administrative functions are carried out to the highest standard and accuracy.
  • Support patients with their onward journey for imaging and specialist care.
  • Learn to type referral letters and medical reports with our extensive training programme.

What You'll Bring

  • Good general level of education
  • Excellent written and spoken English
  • 1 – 5 years in medical administration and/or front of house hospitality and general administration experience also considered as long as you have a clear interest in healthcare
  • A great personality!
  • Computer literacy
  • Dynamic and positive attitude
  • Proven ability to work flexibly and accurately with changing priorities and deliver a confidential and high-quality customer-focused service.
  • A friendly "can-do" attitude
