JOB DETAILS:

  • Job Summary: To create, prepare, and present all pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the highest standards of quality and creativity.
  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Prepare a wide variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads.
    • Decorate and present pastries in an aesthetically pleasing way.
    • Develop new dessert recipes and menus.
    • Monitor and manage pastry kitchen inventory and ordering.
    • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the pastry section.
  • Qualifications:
    • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role.
    • Creativity and artistic skill in pastry design.
    • In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
    • Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
