JOB DETAILS:
- Job Summary: To create, prepare, and present all pastries, desserts, and baked goods to the highest standards of quality and creativity.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare a wide variety of pastries, cakes, cookies, and breads.
- Decorate and present pastries in an aesthetically pleasing way.
- Develop new dessert recipes and menus.
- Monitor and manage pastry kitchen inventory and ordering.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards in the pastry section.
- Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Pastry Chef, Baker, or relevant role.
- Creativity and artistic skill in pastry design.
- In-depth knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment.
- Culinary school diploma or equivalent qualification.
