Job Summary

We are seeking a talented and creative Pastry Chef to oversee all pastry and dessert operations within our kitchen. The ideal candidate will be passionate about baking, skilled in a variety of techniques, and dedicated to maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, and consistency.

  • Minimum Qualification : Diploma
  • Experience Level : Mid level
  • Experience Length : 3 years

Job Description/Requirements

  • Prepare, bake, and present a variety of pastries, desserts, breads, and other baked goods to the highest quality standards
  • Design, develop, and update dessert and pastry menus in coordination with the Executive Chef and Food & Beverage team
  • Create seasonal and speciality items for events, promotions, and themed occasions
  • Supervise and train pastry staff, ensuring proper techniques, efficiency, and teamwork in the pastry section
  • Manage inventory, monitor ingredient freshness, and ensure cost-effective production with minimal wastage
  • Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and strict hygiene standards in the pastry kitchen
  • Ensure consistent quality, portion control, and aesthetic presentation of all pastry items
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely delivery and presentation of desserts
  • Innovate new recipes and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures
  • Oversee pastry production for special functions such as weddings, banquets, and VIP events.
