JOB DETAILS:
Main duties and responsibilities of the role

The job holders will be responsible for implementing the H3SE compliance schedule at the site level within the company and contractor jurisdiction area.

They will provide expertise and support to HSE company teams, contractors, and subcontractors during pipeline, WellPads and road construction activities.
• They will provide HSE supervision of Precom and Commissioning activities in all off-site areas, these activities include, among others construction or upgrading of roads, construction of WellPads and flowlines.
• Supervise and monitor Company/Contractors/Subcontractors in all Offsites HSE activities during project construction, pipeline, precom and commissioning in order to ascertain that the plant will be built and delivered as per drawings, specifications, procedures, cost and schedule.
• Demonstrate personal commitment to the HSE Policy, maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards, actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes.
• Coach and monitor Company, contractors and subcontractors personnel to ensure the required standards are met. S/he will have sanction to stop the job and is expected to use this sanction should it be necessary.
• Reinforce HSE team management and also provide leadership, advice and guidance on health, safety, and environmental issues to the SITE teams with a focus on minimizing risk and achieving best practice. Support Total management in implementing HSE incentive schemes. Maintain relevant interfaces with TILENGA project Contractors/Subcontractors. Interface with other disciplines on the project including Project Management Team to ensure project objectives will be met.

Minimum skills & experience selection requirements of suitable candidates
1. Qualification: Engineer or equivalent qualification in Health and Safety Experience: Minimum 15 years of experience on HSE standards and/or previous experience with other major IOC’s in large oil and gas construction projects.
2. Experience of preparing and analyzing incident reports and safety statistics Good communications skills – the ability to communicate effectively both in the written and spoken word. Proven leadership, supervisory and training skills are essential
