ABACUS is hiring Packaging Machine Operators.

Responsibilities or duties

JOB ROLES AND EXPECTATIONS:

Key Result Area

Key Roles/Duties

Technical Role

• To run all machines in the packaging area as per SOP and ensure optimal output.
• Ensure cleanliness of the machine and proper maintenance as per SOP.
• To participate and coordinate preventive maintenance and breakdown maintenance.
• To record all unit processes related to machine run.

Any other duties

• Ensure that any other duty assigned by the team leader is executed to management expectations.

AUTHORITIES:

• Timely operation of all machines in the packaging area.
• Machine troubleshooting in the area.
• Recording all the unit processes.
• Minimizing machine rejects and meeting daily targets.
• Performing daily preventive maintenance and keeping the machines clean.
• Timely communication of machine breakdowns to the team leader.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree/diploma in mechanical engineering or a related field.

TRAINING REQUIREMENTS:

• Basic safety training
• Basic GMP training
• Leadership training
• Entry & exit into production area training
• Good documentation practices training
• Hygiene training

Experience needed

• 2 years’ experience working in a related/similar company.
