Description

EBC is hiring an experienced Operations Manager that is comfortable with data, strong in building systems, and familiar with Uganda’s regulatory environment. Someone ready to take ownership and drive things forward immediately.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Operational Leadership: Manage daily office and field operations, ensuring full readiness regarding technology, infrastructure, and security.

Process Optimization: Drive efficiency in service delivery, workflow standardization, and product execution.

Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with teams like Customer Care, Product, and Sales to align, execute, and monitor performance metrics.

Compliance & Risk: Ensure operations comply with Bank of Uganda regulations, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) policies, and internal controls.

Strategic Growth: Support product launches and drive strategies for user acquisition and retention.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field; an MBA is an advantage.

Year/s of Experience: 3-5

Additional Requirements

Understanding of regulatory compliance (AML/CTF) and fintech operations.

Strong analytical mindset, proficiency in data analytics (MS Excel, SQL), and excellent communication abilities.
