SocialLend Africa is a fast-growing fintech startup unlocking access to ethical, collateral-free loans for small businesses in Uganda. We’re looking for a motivated Operations and Sales Assistant to support loan sales, onboarding, client relationship management, and field-based loan recovery.
What You’ll Do
• Market and sell SocialLend’s loan products to SMEs.
• Support client onboarding and loan documentation.
• Monitor repayments and assist in collections and recovery.
• Maintain strong client relationships and field visibility.
• Collaborate with the product and tech teams to enhance borrower experience.
What We’re Looking For
• At least 3 years’ experience in microfinance, banking, or SACCO field work.
• Strong sales, negotiation, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Excel and digital tools.
• Willingness to work in the field (within Kampala and surrounding areas).
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Fluency in English and Luganda is highly desirable.
Note: This is a field-intensive role. We encourage applicants who are comfortable with regular travel and direct client engagement.
