We are a delivery company in Uganda. We have launched EC service. We need a skilled and experienced operation manager to design and manage our new service operation. The ideal candidate will have management experiences of a series of EC operation such as order management, merchandise management, inventory management, and shipping management. In this role, you will have a responsibility of designing new operation and managing EC operation team, and be responsible for reporting to General Manager and management.

・Manage a series of EC operation such as order management merchandise management, inventory management, and shipping management

・To ensure that service is adequately stocked and this is reflected in the system

・  Account manage assigned storage, overseeing invoicing processes

・Supervise regular product updates

・Liaise directly with suppliers to resolve any customer complaints or issues as necessary

・Liaise with delivery team for shipping on time

・Monitor order, sales, and related operation KPI figures daily and escalate any challenges promptly

・To deal promptly and professionally with customer email and telephone enquiries

・To monitor the online shop for issues which might deter customers from buying and to suggest then implement ways of combating these issues

・Other general supervise and management of operation team

・ Demonstrative experience in a series of the related operation works including order management merchandise management, inventory management, and shipping management

・Knowledge of e-commerce operation

・Customer service experience and the ability to deal with difficult customers is essential Knowledge of e-commerce is highly

・Excellent understanding of data administration with proficient in MS Excel and google spreadsheet

・Excellent achievement of team and people management skills

・Proven experience of trouble shooting with strategic problem solving ability

Salary range is 1,000,000sh – 3,000,000sh GROSS depending on skills and experiences.
