About VEDCO:
Volunteer Efforts for Development Concerns (VEDCO) is implementing the INSPIRE project, which focuses on sustainable development and agricultural productivity for smallholder farmers in Kamuli, Dokolo, and Amolatar districts.

Position Summary:
As an Office Assistant, you will ensure that the office premises are well-maintained, clean, and secure. You will provide support in organizing refreshment services, managing kitchen supplies, and assisting with the overall custodianship of VEDCO’s properties. Your role will also involve helping maintain a welcoming and professional environment for the VEDCO team.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Maintain the office premises hygienically at all times.
2. Shop for items, prepare, and serve refreshments to managers and officers in accordance with the VEDCO welfare policy.

3. Order and serve lunch for managers following the welfare policy.

4. Provide security and account for office utensils.
5. Conduct daily stocktaking of kitchen items.
6. Clean and maintain the company’s kitchen utensils.
7. Provide professional custodianship services to all properties at VEDCO.
8. Open and close VEDCO office premises on time.

Qualifications:
• At least a UCE/Ordinary Level certificate.
